Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder

It took a lot of thinking and reassuring in order to purchase this product since Ben Nye is not sold in drugstores. Drugstores are my thing, I'm definitely not into waiting for my addiction/fixation to arrive. I hate the anticipation of waiting, with each tease of every email. The confirmation email, the shipping email, and then the actual 5-7 days of shipping. It drives me nuts! So after many sleepless nights I finally placed the order. I ordered the powder from www.makeupmania.com for $7.95 and it surprisingly took less than 3 days. I was expecting this powder to be an obnoxious shade of yellow but it's not and it unfortunately does not smell like bananas. The actual product is amazing! It's finely milled and the coverage is great. I use it mainly as a setting powder for my under eye concealer but sometimes use it all over my face since it keeps me matte and fresh looking all day. I highly recommend this product to medium-tan skin tones since it is a yellow based powder.
Clear packaging makes it easier to see the amount of powder left.

It conveniently comes with a shifter to dispense the powder.

The cap is useful as well!

Perfect shade for highlighting the under eye area.

Rimmel London Match Perfection 2-in-1 Concealer & Hightlighter

I have been looking for this product for so long and I've finally found it!! It's the PERFECT shade and consistency. It does have a good amount of coverage and is not cakey whatsoever. It's a liquid type of concealer and it dries up pretty fast so blend blend blend! I was in NYC and found it at a local Walgreens for around $7. Which is an extremely great deal for the amount of product you get. One downfall is the squeeze tube brush applicator. I'm not a big fan of that but it's definitely overlooked when considering how great the actual product is. I usually just blend it with my fingers when applying under my eyes but can be blended with brush/sponge and still get great coverage. Yup it's that great!
I got mine in the color 430 Medium

L'oreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara

I recently have watched some of my favorite YouTube gurus and saw them raving about this new mascara. To be quite honest I was a bit weary about it. I absolutely HATE rubberized mascara wands! Actually that was too harsh. My eyelashes HATE rubberized mascara wands! Much more accurate. See I've tried Lash blast, Falsies, etc. and all they do is clump my lashes together and make my short stubby lashes into black mini birds nests. So when spending the $8.99 at my local target for this product I felt as though I was literally throwing the money away. BUT I actually love this mascara! It lengthens and separates my lashes so beautifully! I'm happy I shelled out the money for this product and I have been using it daily.

MAC Velvet Teddy lipstick

I recently had a couple of mac items that were empty and thought I should do a back to mac. I was going to wait until I had 12 items so I could pull a double whammy but thought it would be a while till my fix plus finishes. I really wanted a lipstick since I didn't own any and decided on velvet teddy. I love how matte and nude but not concealer nude it is. Down below are some pictures I took.

Why I'm blogging...

Hello! My name is Stephanie. I am a 23 year old waitress/Nursing student. My love for makeup has always been there. When i was younger I remember going through my moms green caboodle and trying every single product on my face. My favorite were face masks. I did wear makeup while growing up but my staples were black eyeliner, nars blush, and chapstick/lipgloss. Recently I have started trying different products and routines. I hope I can share my thoughts on these products and receive  feedback on what types of products would be great to try. Happy blogging!!
